How to use MProg to change VID/PID

Unfortunetelly I don't know way to set VID/PID under Linux. You will need software from Redmond :-(

  • Download MProg from http://www.ftdichip.com/Resources/Utilities.htm
  • Unplug all FTDI devices. Best way is to unplug all USB devices.
  • Run MProg
  • File, Open, choose rotar.ept
  • Press toolbar button Programm All Existing Devices or press Ctrl+P
  • Press toolbar button Cycle device
  • Cancel drivers installation request
